A Marrakech wedding is planned 12 to 18 months ahead: the availability of the larger villas is the first thing to secure.

Capacity: sleeping and guests
Our wedding villas sleep 14 to 22 people on site — the couple, close family, sometimes the wedding party. On the day itself, the villa and its garden can host up to 150 guests for the reception, under a marquee or outdoors depending on the season. This distinction between sleeping capacity and guest capacity is the first figure to clarify with us before choosing a villa.
Satellite villas: housing your guests
Family and friends not staying in the main villa are housed in nearby satellite villas, booked alongside it to form a coherent group for the wedding. This avoids scattering guests across distant hotels and makes shuttles easier on the day.
A timeline to plan for: 12 to 18 months
The larger wedding villas are booked 12 to 18 months ahead, especially for high-season dates (April-May and September-October). That lead time also covers securing noise permits and coordinating the wedding planner, caterer and other suppliers.
Noise permits and logistics
A wedding with music and an outdoor reception requires a permit from the local authorities, particularly for a late finish. We support this process with our partner wedding planner, who knows the timelines and the right contacts in Marrakech.

After the wedding
Many couples extend their stay by a few nights after the ceremony, in the same villa or another in the catalogue, for a honeymoon on site without changing destination.
An example set-up
For 80 guests: the main 8-bedroom villa sleeps 16, a 5-bedroom satellite villa houses 10 more, and the reception is held in the main villa's garden with a marquee for the evening. This kind of arrangement is planned with the wedding planner as soon as the date is confirmed.

Can we extend the stay after the wedding?
Yes, many couples stay on for a few more nights in the same villa or another one, to be booked at the same time as the wedding date. This extension is booked at the same time as the wedding to guarantee the villa's availability.
