By Valérie offers villas here for direct rental, alongside the neighbouring Fès Road and Casablanca Road districts. A quiet, tree-lined area for family or group stays that want space without moving far from the airport.

A historic district of palm groves and large estates
The Palmeraie takes its name from the natural palm grove planted centuries ago north-east of Marrakech. The district grew up around large estates enclosed by traditional pisé walls, with plots noticeably bigger than in the medina or Guéliz. This is the area for villas with a private garden, a pool, and often several staff quarters.

- Marrakech-Ménara Airport: about 20 minutes
- The medina and Jemaa el-Fna: about 20 minutes
- Amelkis and Al Maaden golf courses: 10 to 15 minutes
- Guéliz: about 15 minutes
There's no street life or nearby shops here: you come for the villa itself, not to walk to the souk.
Who the Palmeraie suits
Families with children who want a walled garden and a pool with no shared space, groups of friends after quiet at the end of a day in town, and stays of several weeks where space matters more than being right next to the centre. Less suited to a short two or three-night stay built around the medina.
Fès Road and Casablanca Road

When to stay
High season runs March to May and October to November, when temperatures allow full use of the garden all day. Summer evenings are still pleasant thanks to the greenery; we recommend a villa with a heated pool or full air conditioning for daytime comfort. Winter nights are cool, so check the heating in the living areas before booking.

Every villa in the Palmeraie is visited by our team before it's listed, and the house staff — housekeeper, gardener, sometimes a caretaker — are employed directly by us. We arrange the airport transfer, pre-arrival grocery shopping and, on request, a private chef for family meals.
Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should I book a villa in the Palmeraie?
Allow 2 to 4 months for high season (March-May, October-November) and 3 to 4 weeks the rest of the year. Large villas with 6 or more bedrooms go first.
Is the area quiet in the evening?
Yes, the Palmeraie has no nightlife: it's a quiet residential area with no bars or restaurants within walking distance. With properties enclosed by walls, outside noise doesn't carry into the garden either.
Can I walk to a restaurant or shop?
No, there are no nearby shops. A car or driver is needed for any trip to Guéliz or the medina. We recommend hiring a car or booking a driver for the whole length of your stay.
Do all the villas have a heated pool?
No, only part of the portfolio does. Use the heated-pool filter on the catalogue to find them if you're staying between November and March. We state this on each villa's page to avoid any surprise on arrival.
Is house staff included in the price?
Housekeeping and garden upkeep are generally included; a chef, driver or extra staff are optional services billed separately. The exact detail is stated on each villa's page before booking.
